Overview

Why We Share Financial Information

Financial companies choose how they share your personal financial information. Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing. Federal law also requires us to tell you how we collect, share, and protect your personal financial information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

What is this notice? This notice is provided pursuant to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), 15 U.S.C. § 6801 et seq., and the FTC's implementing Safeguards Rule. It describes how Puent3 LLC treats the nonpublic personal financial information of its clients.

What Information We Collect

We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information you provide directly: Applications, registration forms, onboarding questionnaires, and correspondence — including your name, address, email, phone number, business details, tax identification numbers, and financial account information.
  • Information from your transactions: Payment amounts, recipient details, transaction history, account balances, and on-chain transaction records.
  • Information from verification providers: Identity verification results from Persona, sanctions screening results, and watchlist check outcomes.
  • Information from third parties: Background check providers, business registries, and credit reporting agencies where applicable.

How We Protect Your Information

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 or equivalent.
  • Access controls limiting employee access to only the information needed to perform their job functions.
  • Regular security assessments and monitoring of our systems.
  • Contractual requirements with service providers to implement equivalent safeguards.
  • Employee training on information security and privacy obligations.

Puent3 maintains a comprehensive information security program in compliance with the FTC Safeguards Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 314).

Who is providing this notice?Puent3 LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company operating as a cross-border stablecoin payment facilitator. Puent3 uses Bridge (bridge.xyz) as its licensed off-ramp partner to convert stablecoins to local fiat currency.
How does Puent3 collect my personal information?We collect your personal information when you register for an account, use our payment services, or communicate with us. We may also collect it from identity verification providers and sanctions databases.
Why can't I limit all sharing?Federal law gives you the right to limit only certain types of sharing (sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes, affiliates using your information to market to you, and sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you). We do not engage in the types of sharing you can limit.
What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.

Definitions

  • Affiliates: Companies related by common ownership or control. Puent3 currently has no affiliates.
  • Nonaffiliates: Companies not related by common ownership or control. We do not share your information with nonaffiliates for marketing purposes.
  • Joint marketing: A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. We do not engage in joint marketing arrangements.

Other Important Disclosures

Former clients: If you close your account, we will continue to share information about you as described in this notice for as long as required by law.

Changes to this notice: We may update this notice annually or whenever our privacy practices change. We will distribute a new notice as required by law. The current version is always available at puent3.io/glba.
